About Me
I am Ms. VanHiel and I am the 5th grade teacher at SJPII. This is my fourth year teaching, and I am so blessed every year to learn more about Jesus' call to all of us to have the heart of a child. It is so beautiful to look back on a year and reflect upon all the knowledge that was gained by each student. However, nothing can outweigh the beauty in what each individual student has taught me throughout the year! I have a deep love for writing. It is always exciting to read the student's stories because of how many vastly different ways a mind can go. Not a single one is ever the same, kind of like us :), and it's exciting to explore the depths that can be attained within literature.
